Dr. Hondo

Dr. Hondo grew up on her family’s farm in Burley, Idaho. It was during that time she first remembers wanting to be a veterinarian. Leaving Idaho to pursue her secondary education, Dr. Hondo earned her Bachelor’s degree from Seattle University and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. To be close to family and friends, Dr. Hondo moved back to Idaho where she completed her postgraduate clinical year at WestVet Emergency and Specialty Center.

While at Westvet, Dr. Hondo trained under the top veterinarians in the region, gaining extensive experience in everything from emergency medicine to internal medicine to surgery. After WestVet, Dr. Hondo accepted a position as a veterinarian at TVVH, where she has worked since.

Dr. Hondo appreciates that TVVH limits the number of patients it accepts, allowing for longer appointment times and closer relationships with patients and their humans. Outside of work, Dr. Hondo enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and attending the Shakespeare Festival.

Dr. Hinderager

Dr. Hinderager was accepted into the advanced honors veterinary program at Washington State University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

Before joining TVVH, Dr. Hinderager spent fourteen years practicing emergency medicine at WestVet Emergency and Specialty Center and at All Valley Animal Care Center. Dr. Hinderager has extensive interest and experience in internal medicine and surgery. She also appreciates the need for and importance of quality end of life care.

Dr. Hinderager joined TVVH because of its reputation for practicing gold-standard veterinary medicine and its focus on work-life balance. After hours, Dr. Hinderager enjoys fishing, skiing, hiking, wakeboarding, participating in triathlons, and enjoying Idaho to its fullest with her husband and two kids.

Dr. Vogel

Dr. Vogel grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho. It was at a young age when Dr. Vogel knew she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a veterinarian. Dr. Vogel earned her Bachelor’s degree from University of Idaho and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University.

Dr. Vogel enjoys the vast diversity and unique challenges veterinary medicine offers. Dr. Vogel’s specific interests are emergency/critical care, surgery, radiology, and dentistry. Dr. Vogel spent several years practicing emergency medicine before joining TVVH. Dr. Vogel joined TVVH because of its reputation of practicing quality medicine and encouraging work-life balance.

When not a work, Dr. Vogel enjoys hiking, camping, biking, swimming, and anything else outdoors with her two small dogs, Arya and Buddy.

Dr. Ware

Dr. Ware was born and raised in Avery, Idaho, a small town just west of the Montana border. His interest in pursuing a veterinary career began while he worked summers at his family’s dairy farm. Dr. Ware graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor’s in Pre-Veterinary and Animal Sciences before earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at neighboring Washington State University.

Dr. Ware started his career at Silver Valley Veterinary Clinic in Pinehurst, ID. He later relocated to Boise to practice at All Valley Animal Care Center and spent a year in Palmer, Alaska practicing at Far Country Animal Hospital.

Outside of work, Dr. Ware enjoys spending time with his family and his pit bull, Petey. Together, they love adventuring outdoors, including backpacking, camping, and fly fishing. Currently, Dr. Ware spends his weekends rebuilding his grandfather-in-law’s 1951 F100 pickup.

Dr. Davis

Dr. Davis is originally from the Wiregrass region of Southeast Alabama, (“the Peanut Capital of the World”.) He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees all at Auburn University in Auburn, AL.

After Auburn, Dr. Davis then completed a 1 year Small Animal Surgery and Medicine Internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Nashville, TN. While in Nashville, Dr. Davis fulfilled his childhood dream of treating pets owned by many of his favorite musicians on the radio while simultaneously training under some of the country’s top veterinary specialists in small animal surgery, critical care, radiology, internal medicine, and oncology.

Dr. Davis then took his training one step further by completing a 1 year specialty surgical internship in Dothan, AL. While there, he trained to efficiently perform numerous specialized and routine procedures during the daytime while concurrently providing overnight emergency services for the region.

Dr. Davis’ veterinary interests include emergency/critical care, both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and ultrasonography. When not at work, Dr. Davis enjoys time with family, hiking with his dogs, fishing, and watching Auburn Tiger basketball and football.
